Terms and Conditions
By booking or taking a lesson or test with Matthew Plenty Driving School (“the School”), you agree to the following terms:

. Booking and Payment
All lessons must be booked in advance. Payment is required at booking via matthewplenty.drivingschool.com.au. Packages are required to be paid in full, at the beginning of the package commencement or at the booking stage via the website. If paying via cash payment is required before the commencement of session.
Vort Test are required to be paid 1 week before test date.
Accepted payment methods include cash, PayID, visa or bank transfer.
Invoices also offer a card payment option, which includes a 1.9% convenience fee.

. Photo consent
Students consent for Matthew Plenty Driving School to take and use photos or videos of you for promotional purposes. These may appear on our website, social media (such as Facebook and Instagram), and other marketing materials.
Please note:
Photos may be used to celebrate achievements, such as passing your test.
No personal information will be shared alongside the images.
Content may be used indefinitely unless you request removal.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

. Student Requirements
Students must carry a valid driver’s license at all times during lessons and tests.
Students must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Any traffic infringements incurred during the lesson are the responsibility of the driver.

. Instructor Responsibility
Instructors will provide safe and professional instruction at all times.
They reserve the right to terminate a lesson if the student is unfit to drive (e.g., intoxication, unsafe behaviour)

. No Mobile Phone Policy
The use of mobile phones by either the student is strictly prohibited during lessons, except in emergencies.
All devices must be silenced or turned off for the duration of the lesson.

. Test Readiness
The School aims to prepare students for their driving test; however, a pass is not guaranteed.
Students are expected to attend lessons regularly and practice outside of lesson times.

Vehicle Damage
In the event of a collision or damage caused by the student due to negligence, reckless driving, or failure to follow the instructor’s directions, the student may be held liable for the cost of repairs or insurance excess.
Matthew Plenty Driving School reserves the right to assess each incident individually and determine responsibility based on the circumstances.
By taking lessons, students acknowledge and accept this condition.
In the event of vehicle damage during student use payment or a payment arrangement must be made withing 14 days of receiving the official repair receipt. If this requirement is not met, we reserve the right to recover the amount via direct debit using the bank detains supplied, or to initiate legal proceedings.
.Personal items
Matthew Plenty Driving School is not responsible for any personal items left in the vehicle during or after lessons. Students are advised not to bring valuables and to take all belongings with them at the end of each session.
If items are left behind, we will hold them for up to 7 days. After this period, unclaimed items may be discarded.
By attending lessons, you accept full responsibility for your personal belongings.

. Liability and Insurance
The School carries all required insurances. However, the School is not responsible for any personal injury or property damage during lessons unless it results from the instructor’s negligence.

. Data Protection
Personal information provided is used solely for lesson bookings and legal requirements.
All data is kept strictly confidential.

. Cancellation Policy
Lessons:
• Cancellations made between 48 and 24 hours before the lesson will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
• If a student is more than 15 minuets late to a lesson, the lesson will be forfeited and a refund will not be given. If a student is 10 minuets late to the lesson there may be no time extensions given due to scheduling.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full lesson fee.
VORT Tests:
• Cancellations at any point will result in the loss of the full deposit.
• Full payment must be made before the test.
• Should the cancellation fee not be received, we will process the payment owed via direct debit (the card associated with the student) in accordance with our agreed terms and conditions.

. Amendments and Termination
The School reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
Services may be suspended or terminated if the terms are not followed.

. Dash Cam Recording
All lessons are recorded via dash cam for training and quality purposes, in compliance with SA government regulations.
